Julie Clarke

Julie is a lecturer in law at Deakin University where she teaches Contract Law and Competition Law and Policy. She has bachelor degrees in law and arts and a PhD in law. She has been admitted to practice law in Victoria. Julie worked as a researcher at the Victorian Court of Appeal and completed her Articles at Minter Ellison Lawyers before pursuing an academic career. Julie's primary area of research is competition law and policy, with a particular interest in international competition law issues, and she also researches and writes on contract and consumer law issues.
Julie also maintains blogs and websites dedicated to competition law and contract and consumer law.
